Jenna Cofer
Jenna’s love for animals began early. By 11, she was already begging her parents for a dog. By the time she was high school aged, she was already working in various dog daycare and boarding facilities. She was also active in FFA, working with chickens and heifers.
About Kendra
Who is Jenna Cofer?
After earning a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science with a focus on behavior from the University of North Florida, Jenna started working full-time at Southeastern Guide Dogs in Palmetto, Florida. There, she trained guide dogs and service dogs to prepare them for the real world. A conversation with Dave, the founder of Sit Happens Dog Training, opened her eyes to the possibilities of in-home dog training. Inspired by this new direction, Jenna leapt at the chance to join the Sit Happens team.
In 2020, Jenna adopted a dog named Astro who accompanies her to nearly all her training sessions. Jenna is excited to bring the services and expertise of Jacksonville’s leading dog training provider to the Tampa Bay area.
